They ARE good.

Even if they aren't, what stops you from uploading them to DeviantART? The fear of others hating your works?

Even though you aren't a pro, that won't stop you from signing up to DeviantART and making pictures. In fact, I'd assume many people there are hobbyists rather than professional artists (the fanart you can find there should be your clue).

And normal hand-drawn pictures ARE accepted there, BTW.
