And the king just slips away to a fresh board.
Something else that's tricky: Since knights alternate between white and black squares, they're now similar to bishops in that they'll either be white-only on Board A and black-only on Board B, or vice versa. There's something I'd like to do with my c3 knight, but it will never work because my target square is black on Board A, and that knight is white-only on Board A.
