Thanks if the near and far edges wrap around; what we're doing is having the left and right edges wrap around.
Also, in the first case, the kings would be adjacent. Technically, White would lose before anybody made a move.

Knights and Bishops on the right side of the board, Queens, and Kings combined causing a checkmate, something like that, right?

It'd actually be funny if Kings could cause checkmate (which is possible in the RPG chess at these forums since one's character can be female or male; female characters basically are Queens that work like Kings while their Kings work like Queens).
So, shall we go back in turns?
Also, Black appears to be mostly Shane and Dr. Egregious, so going by their first elements (Ice and Darkness, respectively), and the color of their pieces, I shall dub them "Team Frozen Darkness".
