*sigh*
That would be a mistake, Taylor.
Dr. Egregious might agree with me here.
Let's see.
Moving your Pawn to a5, I could easily move my Knight to d6, causing double checkmate (as the King would be threatened by both my Knight and Queen).
Moving your Bishop to h6, I could easily move my Knight to d6, forcing the King to move to f8, where I can take the Bishop with my Queen. The King would have to move to g8, and I could move my Queen to f5, where the King would be in check again, forcing him to move away again. It would eventually end up being perpetual check, ending in a draw.
Moving your Pawn on d7 would be better than both the previous moves; moving my Knight to d6 would make the best place for the King to be d7. You'd be able to defend your King much better then; you'd have the Pawn on e7, and you would be able to capture my Knight if I choose to put your King in check. Depending on what moves you make, I might be able to checkmate the King using five units (two Pawns, a Bishop, a Knight and a Queen). Another possibility, going by d7, would end up with
six pieces instead, (Rook, Queen, two Pawns, Bishop, Knight) or (two Bishops, two Pawns, Knight, Queen). However, it's still possible to turn this match around, whether by laying a trap that will result in the loss of my Queen, or by using Pawns for that. (Almost wrote "prawns" instead. That would be weird.)
Moving the e7 Pawn would make the game slightly longer, if by two or three turns; it's possible there to checkmate the King using two Pawns, two Knights and a Queen. (Again, five units.)
If you have an actual chessboard, you ought to set the board up so that it matches the one in our match.
Then, try and figure out the best move(s) from there.
Most of your previous moves were almost as though you
wanted me to win; setting up a Fool's Mate on Black's side and keeping your King in danger leads to me thinking that.
Also, I don't have an actual chessboard; I'm just doing this from mind. Therefore, I could be somewhat mistaken, regarding the above text.
KarjamP might or might not disagree with what I've done here (giving you possible options and such) but I figured it's better to help you out.
It would be too easy to checkmate that King, at least right now and in my opinion.
