Wow, this seems rather interesting! ^_^

So, we'll need three people then: two people who take part in both the Pokémon battle and the chess match, and a third who referees both.

Pokémon are from the sixth Generation and earlier and Mega Evolutions are allowed, if both opponents wish to use those.
The Gen VI type chart can also help out.
