So, I figured I have to stop being so lazy and that I have to keep myself busy (I've gotten bored with playing video games now).

I'm working on this mod again. I already asked this at the SCS Forums, but... could somebody play through the mod and try to hunt glitches, please? I already know of the following things that I must do:
= Make intro more interesting (it is pretty boring though)
= Keep "controls.txt" but add notification somewhere (this is for those who don't know how to play Cave Story)
= Do NOT add text in "face.bmp"
= Keep the inconsistent art (deliberately; adds to the weirdness in that the caves are not really there but rather a figment of Shané's personalities).
= Give reason for boring town layout (caused by Frost Caverns appearing)
= Make townsfolk a bit more interesting (they are BORING)
= Fix door glitch behind Zexion (the greyish-steel-blue-haired guy)
= Get other people to help out with dialogue for mod (as everyone shows little emotion)... but I'll do that before release.
= Make protagonist note how the people attempt to be comedic while a darker and edgier quest is looming ahead. Breaking the fourth wall? That's merely Shané's personalities not noticing what's going on.
= Add a way out of the water trap in Town, pre-Invasion. After the Invasion begins it's possible to walk on the water.
= There's an extra space between "Shané" and "Lambrechts" - causing the "s" to be on a new line.
= Shané's home is inside the gate, not outside.
= Treasure chest with Keyblade is in the air once opened.
Also, so far the giant Critter boss works fine (in terms of sprites). The Mystery Mines are going to be pretty boring though, as there's also very little platforming. There's a reason for this: the miners were lazy.

I have yet to fix all those things, though, and add enemies and puzzles to the Mystery Mines. And then, after the Critter Boss is defeated, make it even harder by making it fall apart
In other words, after beating the boss, you can't access the Mystery Mines again once you leave it. That's the plan, at least.

As for town not being very platform-ish, it was rebuilt in three Sylraphian days and in a hurry. 1 Sylraphian day is basically 96 Earth hours. Building a town in about 288 hours in a hurry isn't a good idea though...

What looks weird about the small Critters of the Invasion?(The answer can be seen in the current version.
