Title: Preliminary Chess Round: Four-handed Chess

Shane vs Solid Snake, Taylor and KarjamP

(Note: this is just a preliminary round. Since the sprites for the chessboard aren't ready yet, we're going to use a different style of chessboard.)

K = king
Q = queen
R = rook
B = bishop
N = knight
P = pawn

As the chessboard is of larger size than normal, squares are a bit different. A-1 and N-14 are black squares, while N-1 and A-14 are white squares. (Coincidentally, H-8 is still a black square, while H-1 and A-8 are still white squares.)

The setup will be the same as the one here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-handed_chess).

I figured a twist of some sort is possible.
In the event that someone is checkmated, his/her pieces remain on the board (except for the King) but they are not allowed to move.

I'll go as White.
The other three colors are black, red and blue.
This match is a free-for-all - there aren't any alliances.

This is going to be hard to update :))
Especially due to the Bulletin Board Code, but that's just one of many obstacles of forum-based ASCII-style four-handed chess.

NOTE: if a player is in check, we ought to mention it in the notation.
I figured, if a King is in check, the notation gets a + followed by the color, as in the notation below.

EDIT: It should be 005. ... ... ... k7, rather than 005. ... ... ... K7, because a capital K indicates a king move whereas a lower-case k indicates a pawn moving to a square on the k file. ~Dr. Egregious

Since Taylor returned, I don't know whether she'll be continuing or if Dr. Egregious will still take her place; if they want to they can both control Red, alternating turns (i.e. Taylor is red in one turn, then Egregious is red after her, and Taylor is red after him, and so on) or something. :)
Same goes for KarjamP and Charlotte, just with Blue instead.
