Um, yeah.
Members can talk about trope-related things, ask questions, et cetera, and so forth.
I already have a question:
What trope does one use for a character who has a five hit combo, who says these depending on the amount of hits?
- Ha!
- Yah!
- My turn!
- It's over!
- Have at you!
Does that fall under Large Ham (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LargeHam) or something?
The observant will note that it's the title under my avatar.
Variant N-Shane has that above as his combo speech.
The Battle: Variant N is a freeform RPG, as well, the curious should ask Taylor or KarjamP or anyone who has participated in it for details.
(I know very little about it. :-\)

I must say, that's rather interesting. "My turn" is entirely unexpected though.

Maybe IdiosyncraticComboLevels is closer?

Ah, thanks. :)
Achievements in Ignorance would apply to someone who can kill the immortal, regardless of the fact that they're, well, immortal, right? Or is that Beyond the Impossible?
(I've already asked this at TV Tropes in the "Post your random thoughts" thread.)
-
Shane, add this to the list of tropes for Yoshiro Sugimoto:
- Public Domain Character (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PublicDomainCharacter): KarjamP decided that he should be in Public Domain.
-
Why don't you do it yourself? :o

Did anyone answer this? D:
-

Because I can't edit Shane's troper page. (Due to vandalism, tropers can only edit their own troper page.)

I'll answer this now: Achievements in Ignorance (in addition to Beyond the Impossible, as it's possible for an instance to be an example of more than one trope) would only apply if said person did not know that said immortal cannot be killed at all. Otherwise, that'll only be Beyond the Impossible.
-
So what are Troper Walls meant for, then? :o
So... if someone somehow managed to make fire upside-down when trying to make one in a fire place, what trope would that be?
-

I meant the troper contribution pages, which the last time I checked, Shane was keeping the tropes for the characters in our various worlds there.
So... if someone somehow managed to make fire upside-down when trying to make one in a fire place, what trope would that be?
Both if he wasn't aware if it's possible, only Beyond the Impossible if he does and wanted to do so anyway (and succeeding).
-
So... if he was entirely unaware that he was able to harm those who were immortal, Variant-N Shane would count as "Achievements in Ignorance"?
And it would still count as long as he remained unaware?
-
I think it'll only be the example if he doesn't know that the person he's attacking is an immortal.
IE, he's unaware that he shouldn't even be able to harm him.

Can someone make a tropes page for this fanfic?

As I'm too nervous to do so myself, I've added it to this (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Summary/FanWorks) list.
-
Such a list even exists? :o
-
Yeah, for every medium that the site covers.

Shane, add this to the list of tropes for Yoshiro Sugimoto:
- Public Domain Character (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PublicDomainCharacter): KarjamP decided that he should be in Public Domain.
Done.
I had added information of the new elements anyway.

Received my first post thump on the forums today/last night.
It was for "legal advice".
I can get carried away with my love for justice with rules and laws at times, like there. :P
(What I had done is saying that I don't know how legal something was as if it copied from TV Tropes, it's not following the terms of the license properly.)

I don't notice you posting at the fora, except in that Happy Birthday thread at about 7 October.

I mainly post in the "Wiki and Forums" subforums (ie, Image Pickin, Wiki Talk, Trope Repair Shop, etc.).

You should become a lawyer :))

Now that there's a redlink for it, can someone make a page for it? My Tropes account is kinda broken.
