I took another look at those eMails and either he played us, or he wants us to THINK he played us. He purposefully doesn't use contractions so we can't analyze it, but that in itself tells us a lot. It means he knows about basic lie detection.....

Which everyone who has access to the internet knows nowadays.... Back to square one. That at least tells us that he's a fan of crime shows and is fairly well read...
