It's English, not Dark Elven. =[

At least you got my post right, though. :P

Anyway, I guess that's the most likely explanation. The mind can make up some supremely random things sometimes.

Um.

Hope you don't mind me using your post as evidence.

Dark Elves, at least the ones from Endania, write like that - random symbols and such in between letters.
I believe Xylorta has learned that language fluently, along with Past, Present and Future Draconian...

In any case, I can agree completely with that! The mind does indeed make random things up, just like that.

Just to be specific.

My real name is Grzegorz, and Taylor defines me as "Gregory or something like that". Is it really that random?

That is hard to pronounce? Well, maybe. But look at these words, names etc.:
Andrzej, gżegżółka, marzyciel.

There are lots of such words in Polish. For us, they are not really hard. I could even record myself saying them and then post the records here, just for curious people.

But my first name + surname (last name? I don't know how it is called) is a bit hard for everyone:
Grzegorz Rogóż

A lot of people write it as Grzegorz Rogórz, that annoys me.

...

OK, end of offtop.

Several of those words in Polish are not supported by Cave Story. "Król Krokodyli" is supported, but "gżegżółka"isn't (it would show up as "g?eg?ó?ka").
In any case, I apologize for writing it as "Gregory".

No need to apologize, I understand...

@Shane
About that gender change.
I had some dreams of this...
Not to sound weird, but I kinda liked these. Not because... Um... You know, but just because it is a different feeling. I felt kind of strange, but it still was a good feeling. Don't take me wrong!

Tonight I dreamt that I broke into some gaming arcade with my friend, and the alarm was so loud that the earth shook, and it was SO scary...

I had a dream that there existed a Pokémon that had 18 evolutions.
It evolved depending on what Plate it was holding, so if it was holding a Splash Plate, it would evolve into a Water-type Pokémon, if it held a Draco Plate it would evolve into a Dragon-type Pokémon, and so on. If it didn't hold any plates it would evolve into a Normal-type Pokémon.

(...It's always the same dream, btw...but I haven't told anyone yet...)
I'll post it here soon, I think.

The third time I've had this dream, sort-of...
It's a recurring nightmare, by the looks of things.
For the sake of simplicity, I'll be posting the entire nightmare again with the differences added, as usual.
I'll underline the things that are different from the previous two nightmares that were mostly similar.

...

I dreamt that I, an Irish-, English-, Latin- and Afrikaans-speaking girl named Erin Molony, a Japanese, English- and Zulu-speaking boy named Richard de Goede, another boy named Shane Neumann (who spoke Afrikaans, Present Draconian, English, German and Past Draconian fluently), another guy named Grzegorz Rogóż (he spoke Polish, English, French and Spanish fluently), a shiny talking Gardevoir nicknamed Polaris, a boy named Julio Nemesis (who spoke Italian, English and Past Draconian fluently), yet another guy who went by the name of Philip (he spoke English, Macedonian, Greek, and Present Draconian fluently while also being able to decipher hieroglyphs), another guy named Alex (he spoke English and Spanish fluently), and a young boy named Kushagra (who spoke English and German fluently, as well as one or two other languages that I couldn't understand), were in a group. We were the chosen ones who were to save the planet from total destruction. All our weapons were enchanted to cause no wounds (like, say, my daggers couldn't make people bleed if they were stabbed with it or Shane's swords couldn't decapitate people).

I was skilled with poisoned daggers, poison magic, fire magic, nether magic, dark magic and cute magic. I was the second-in-command, apparently, and also had an attorney's badge. Yes, me, a lawyer who defends people. I don't get it...
Erin was skilled at battling her foes with two Keyblades, and casting water, ice, star, data and solar-element magic, in addition to cute magic. She was also one of our two "Generals".
Richard had the Sharingan which allowed him to copy fighting styles and such. While he could only cast heart magic, he was able to copy the spells and jutsu of his foes to counter with them.
Shane could use ice-and-lightning element swords, and he also had four Keyblades. In addition, he was able to cast ice, thunder, data and blah magic and also able to control aura, which he used to create a force field around himself and his friends at some time. He was also the leader of our group and carried a prosecutor's badge. I don't know how, but he had one. He also had the ability to use ninjutsu like that from Naruto, being able to actually juggle four Rasengan with ease.
Grzegorz had shuriken, kunai, guns, swords, and just about all the weapons from Haunted House Story. He also had the Byakugan, allowing him to have a near-360-degree vision. He could use heart, nature, dark, serpentine and wind magic at will.
Polaris could use all known Pokémon moves and abilities. He/she/it was also able to use magic-element spells, and also star, heart, light and dark magic. He/she/it also had the ability to wish for things, and all of his/her/its wishes becoming true... if it was within his/her/its power.
Julio was skilled at using any sort of weapon, although he excelled at using sabres. He also could cast wind, space and time, thunder, dark, blah and anti-matter magic. He was the other of our two "Generals".
Philip was the diplomat, who was a great help at all things related to shopping. He only cast blah magic, but since it's so random, it ended up being useful in times where there was no food. (Yay for the Pizza element!)
Alex was honorable - he never said no to help a person in need, whether the leader of our team liked it or not. He was skilled at using a sword imbued with the power of light, and could cast thunder, ice, fire, water and data magic with ease.
Kushagra was... well, calm, cool, collected, and able to formulate strategies in his head within a minute. Compared to Shikamaru (from Naruto), Kushagra was twice as smart. (:o) He could control fire, water, earth and wind with ease, and also cast quintessence magic. He was also a skilled shinobi, being capable of using A-rank ninjutsu.

We were in Cape Town when chaos happened: two mysterious girls who concealed their faces with gas masks and wielded Keyblades appeared elsewhere to cause chaos.
The two mysterious girls from a mysterious Organization XIII attacked and murdered everyone in a space station near Earth. Then they made sure that the entire place was full of poison gas bombs before they somehow found a way to send the space station crashing down to Earth... which it did. It caused the destruction of Gansbaai, and the only buildings that survived was Shane's house, the hotels, the primary school and the high school, the Caltex petrol station (at least, I think it was called "Caltex"), and the 7-11 store. The bombs on the space station exploded and the entire town was covered with a toxic cloud which killed everyone there who survived the explosion and such.

Our group was in Hermanus when we found out about the chaos. Both Erin and I wore gas masks, while the others wore HAZMAT suits - except for Shane, Polaris, Kushagra and Grzegorz. Shane blindfolded himself, using his ability to control aura to create a force field. Polaris' ability to use all Pokémon abilities (like Immunity and Pixilate, which made all Normal-type moves into the Fairy-type) helped him/her/it out, and Kushagra and Grzegorz each used used their abilities to control the element of wind to create barriers around them. We then traveled to the mostly-ruined town of Gansbaai, where Shane grew up.

When we arrived, the sky was red and the air toxic. Probably needless to say, I'm not sure, but Shane was so scared of the people in town and everyone in the group - except, of course, for Polaris, Kushagra and Grzegorz - since they wore gas masks or HAZMAT suits, if not both, that Erin and I actually had to drag him with us. I dragged him by the ear, Erin dragged him by the arm. Shane could "see" the chaos that transpired using his aura; how everyone died in town, and so forth. We all split up into three groups after Shane chose to go to his house.
Erin, Julio and I went to scout the ruins, to find any survivors... but there wasn't any survivors. Philip, Alex and Grzegorz went to Hermanus to get food, as Gansbaai's food was poisoned because of the toxic gas. Kushagra, Polaris and Richard went with Shane, where Kushagra used wind-elemental magic to clear the gas from the house. The four of them then chose to have fun, sort of.

Richard chose to read a book, Kushagra chose to watch television, and Polaris chose to meditate. Meanwhile, Shane played video games on his own, mostly, although every now and then Kushagra, Polaris or Richard would challenge Shane to a multiplayer competition thing. Apparently, he proved to be a challenge for all three when they had played Toribash to see who could defeat Shane: Kushagra, Polaris and Richard all had 0 victories, while Shane had 30. Then, Kushagra and Richard chose to challenge Shane to a Little Fighter 2 battle. Shane picked Louis, Richard picked John and Kushagra picked Davis. And Shane won without a single loss, after five battles. Polaris, on the other hand, chose to challenge Shane to a chess match. After five victories, Shane was the victor. All this while Shane was blindfolded and therefore unable to see a thing.

After his victory over Polaris, everyone else in the group returned, and everyone (except me) tried to defeat him in Toribash as well... only to discover that Shane was far too hard to defeat. Philip was the only one who even came close - he scored 19992 points, while Shane had scored 19994 points. Kushagra then asked what Shane's strategy was, and Shane's answer was this:
Quote from: Shane
Um.
It's entirely random.
As for how I could see without being able to see...
I have absolutely no idea whatsoever.
Strange, is it not?
Erin and I merely laughed, while everyone else looked surprised. Philip then used some Blah-elemental magic to create a small hotel below the house for our group, where everyone (except for Shane) stayed in. Shane stayed at his house.

The following day, I chose to challenge Shane to a multiplayer competition of all the two-player games he had on his computer.
And he beat me in the most embarrassing way - he was blindfolded, I wasn't. :-[
TrackMania Nations Forever, Toribash, Little Fighter 2, Battle for Wesnoth, Hedgewars, Peggle World of Warcraft Edition... he just won every time.
And then, I just took of my gas mask and kissed him. :-[

For some reason, everyone else planned a party because of it, and Shane's expression... let's just say that it was even more hilarious than Edgeworth's WTF-face. And it remained the same the entire day.
Since that moment, Shane and I were a couple, whether he liked it or not. (And obviously, he didn't.)
Philip then cast another Blah-elemental spell, this time to create a Training Room and an Elevator for easier access to aforementioned Training Room and Hotel rooms.
We all went down to the Training Room to train... when Shane created two Rasengan, threw them up into the air, created two more Rasengan, and started juggling them... before he used all four Rasengan to strike a practice dummy, causing it to explode like a ventriloquist's doll. Then monsters suddenly appeared, and we all prepared to battle...

... After that, I woke up. I wasn't crying this time, at least.

In the previous dream, we found a lead on who was responsible... and then we found a portal leading to Endania. But not in this one, as you can read above.

Yep, and you could use all A-rank ninjutsu and genjutsu and such with ease.

Wonder how the Clone jutsu would do in a battle?
(As in, Shane and you used a Clone jutsu and the clones did battle, something like that.)
That would be spectacular to watch, wouldn't it?

Kushagra picked Davis.

How did you know my weakest characters in LF2?!?!

I suck with Davis. His Dragon Punch may be strong, but its hard to time.

My best character is either Deep, Bat, Henry, or Louis. Sometimes Rudolf, but he gets easily beaten.

I dreamt that Shane somehow got hold of a copy of Minecraft. At least me, Shane and Kush were on the same server together, apparently the Pixelmon mod's installled (which adds Pokemon to the game), as a Jynx was found somewhere and Shane was building a luxerious building with a swimming pool which doubles as a little market square.

At the end of the dream, I found Shane, with a different username and skin which one wouldn't expect him to have, putting on the finishing touches on the swimming pool. I got a little exited to see Shane in the game, then flew to some green blocks that weren't in the game.

Somehow, I've been able to feel that the blocks was made up of many small balls and I've sunk beneath it.

Then Shane came.

When he arrived, he donned a pose that's technically impossible in Minecraft without a mod.

I then typed something positive in text chat (I forgot what it was), Shane's avatar was going through a typing motion (like in a virtual world called "Second Life") and then text supposedly coming from him in the text chat came and basically confirmed what I've said.

I dreamt that I was on a floating ice castle. With teleporters. Said teleporters were mostly linked to other teleporters underwater, with dart traps.
And there were only 20 humans left in the world. :o

And then the Eater of Existence came and me, Wayne, Taylor, KarjamP, Kushagra and Dr. Time battled against it... and won.

Um.
I dreamt of a new chess variant.

Basically, the left and right sides don't exist at all.
In other words, a Pawn on H4 could capture a Pawn on A5, or a Knight could go from B8 to H7.

You could say the left and right sides are a portal to the other side. :P

I had a weird dream.
It was... well, weird. :P

Me, Wayne, Taylor and Kanpachi were dead, but had to take part in a Reaper's Game (like in the Square Enix video game, The World Ends With You) - and if we won, we would be brought back to life.
Us four all made a pact, as one, and we all could use pins of specific types. I could use Ice and Lightning pins, Taylor could use Poison and Fire pins, Kanpachi could use Star and Water pins, and Wayne could use Nature and Darkness pins.
We all teamed up against the Noise.

Then I woke up, after having faced two Reapers...
Neku and Shiki (the first two characters that can be controlled in the game) :o

Officially known as "Cylindrical Chess". :P

Anyway.

I had a weird dream this morning. (Then again, most of them are weird to me. :P)
I dreamt that Taylor, Dianke and Lily had a stepsister named Charlotte and that she joined the forums as "Elemental Hero Ice Heart".
She wasn't shy but she was silent, saying barely a word. (Just about all her posts had "..." in them.)

Which makes me wonder: is that dream going to become real?
Taylor's father is (as far as we know) engaged to someone who the Smith sisters dislike, the possibility that their potential stepmother has a daughter named Charlotte does exist.

Elemental Hero Ice Heart sounds like it could be the name of a "good" counterpart to The Eternal Darkness.

My most recent one of any notability was one where I was first on some kind of road trip of self discovery, then in a museum trying desperately to get onto the roof, and finally chasing somebody down a road, trying to get back something he had stolen. In between these three scenes, though, I somehow got warped to a gloomy forest. Each time this happened, a disembodied voice would point out a special-looking tree some distance away, and wonder if it marked the edge of the forest. I ran around in a panic, until a deathly pale girl with black eyes who might've been a vampire showed up, told me there was no way out of the forest, and taunted me with a sign with the letter L on it.

One of my favourite dreams was a few months ago. I had a magic box, and was trying to get to a fortune teller. I couldn't go there directly, because the road went insane and suddenly became vertical, so I had to take a long detour. When I finally got there, I gave the magic box to a fortune teller, and was given two bottles of water in return. The bottled of water, I was told, meant that I was "Neutral Class", a fairly rare class, but also a rather useless one. After that, I had one of the bottles stolen by one of my friends, Cloud Bolt. I then travelled to a building to meet with some people I know IRL. One of these people was mysteriously replaced with a sinister girl with red hair.

That sounds like a good Chess variant.

Perhaps call it "Portal Chess"?
Officially known as "Cylindrical Chess". :P

Anyway.

Well, partially real. :P

I was actually going to register as "Elemental Hero Ice Heart" but...
Shane's dream is, therefore, entirely correct...

...

Ah, nostalgia. It has been weeks since I last came here... and now that I'm back, I'll just poke around here.

Poke.
