More news.

Xerneas is a pure Fairy-type Pokémon. Yveltal is a Dark and Flying-type Pokémon. (Who didn't see that coming? )

I knew it.

Pancham's evolved form is a Fighting and Dark-type Pokémon.

... Some other people knew it.

And we finally have a canonical Dark/Psychic Pokémon! It's a squid Pokémon, and it's weak against Bug-type Pokémon. (Bug-type moves are super effective against Dark and Psychic types. Unless Game Freak changes that.)

Guess they liked the Brycen-Man movies?

And then there's a Pokémon based on cotton candy, and a Pokémon based on perfume, both of them being version-exclusive Fairy-type Pokémon.

Somehow, I had the feeling that there'd be unexpected Pokémon introduced... I was right.

And then there's Team Flare. Gathering money is their goal... so I suppose they're a villainous team who poaches Pokémon.

... Didn't see that one coming...
Xerneas is the Life Pokémon, Yveltal the Death Pokémon. (Okay, it's the Destruction Pokémon, but Yveltal learns Death Wing, effectively making Yveltal the Death Pokémon in a way. )
You'd think the villainous team would try to kill humanity or Pokémon out of existence while another would try to create more people and Pokémon somehow.

And then there's two new Gym Leaders.

Nothing new, really. They're too unknown.
But if one of them is mysterious, that means there's a chance he/she is a Dark-type Gym Leader!

Xerneas' ability is Fairy Aura, and Yveltal's ability is Dark Aura.
The squid Pokémon can have Suction Cups or Contrary as abilities.

I'm surprised Shane hasn't worked on the Canonical Pokédex yet.
Guess I'll do that in Shane's stead; if there's a forum RPG for Pokémon we're gonna need that Canonical Pokédex for sure.
