If these rumors are true...
THEN THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!
... But those are merely rumors. No facts yet.
Most of it's probably going to be fake. Let's see...
There are supposedly 130 new Pokémon
Chespin @Lv.18 ➔ Shinnut @Lv.36 ➔ Chinken (Grass/Dark) - Chespin supposedly becomes more armoured with lengthened spikes, and becomes Defense orientated
Fennekin @Lv.18 ➔ Kinduples @Lv.36 ➔ Feuensis (Fire/Psychic) - Fennekin becomes bigger and has a necklace like thing of will-o’-wisps
Froakie @Lv.18 ➔ Ribburai @Lv.36 ➔ Crokssin (Water/Fighting) - Froakie remains slim and becomes like a ninja, it is a very fast Pokémon
I don't want another Fire/Fighting starter evolution, so as long as those are the types that the Kalos starters will evolve into, I'm happy. Or if they evolve into types like Grass/Fairy, Fire/Ice and Water/Dark. Or something like that.
Litleo @Lv. 15 ➔ Blazic (Fire/Poison) @Lv. 32 ➔ Mantiroar (Fire/Poison)
Helioptile @Lv. 35 ➔ Solaragon (Electric/Dragon)
... That'd be unexpected.
I bet you'd love the Fire/Poison Pokémon if it turns out to be true, eh?
Screeclaw @Lv.30 ➔ Whyrill @Lv.45 ➔ Noivern
Fletchling @Lv.14 ➔ Talonflame @Lv.30 ➔ Scorchawk
Swirlix @Moon Stone ➔ Candilix (Fairy)
Spritzee @Moon Stone ➔ Apothingo (Fairy/Flying)
Clauncher @Lv.28 ➔ Cannoclaw (Water/Electric)
Skrelp @Lv.28 ➔ Weeslep
... What.
There are supposedly 7 legendary Pokémon: Xerneas, Yveltal, a third cover Pokémon that looks like a snake with Poison/Rock typing, a Fairy-type trio based on spirits of natures (Fire/Fairy, Water/Fairy and Ground/Fairy), and a final odd-looking Pokémon. No details on event Pokémon
Well, there are X and Y Pokémon. If this is true, then the "third cover Pokémon" will be the Z Pokémon, probably.
A minotaur with Fairy/Fighting typing with an incredible Attack stat, it is a psuedo-legendary.
A three stage dolphin line with Water/Psychic typing
A fire ant line that consists of three Pokémon, Bug/Fire
Another three stage line with Dark typing based on jaguars
Electric/Dark Cheetah
Captain Jack Sparrow didn't say
what, I did.
On the unlikely event that these rumors are true, weirdness is going to happen.
Honedge is a standalone Pokémon
Expected as much, but GameFreak knows what they'll do.
A nymph Pokémon
... Probably Fairy-type?
Mawile, Sableye, Farfetch’d, Dunsparce and Qwilfish all receive evolutions
Poor Hugh. His hair already makes him seem like a Qwilfish, but if Qwilfish evolves, will Hugh's hair evolve too? XD
Miltank, Taurus, Throh, Sawk and Audino all receive prevolutions
If it's true... Tauros and Miltank will probably have the same pre-evolution.
Mewtwo has two forms
Expected
that; I saw it somewhere. (Not sure where; can't find it either.)
Eevee receives a Poison-type evolution known as Toxeon
If this is true, Taylor's going to be so happy that I'll actually become
scared of her.
Orot is Grass/Ghost type
I assume they're talking about that tree Pokémon from Movie 16 (the one with Genesect)?
Mawile, Clefairy, Milotic, Mincinno gain fairy(Pikachu will not)
So their evolutions won't gain Fairy-typing?
Azumarill will be pure Water?
WHAT.
The first route in the game is home to Fletchling and a currently unannounced rodent Pokémon, which is said to live underground and evolves into a Normal/Ground Pokémon
Usually the first route of any main series Pokémon game is home to a Flying-type Pokémon and a rodent Pokémon, if I remember correctly.
Santalune Forest is where Spewpa, Scatterbug and Pancham are found
Wow, another early Fighting-type. So where's the level 8 Axew?
Your journey across Kalos begins by visiting Lumiose City, travelling west towards the coast, looping back round missing the desert, returning to Lumiose City over to the west
... I'm confused by this...
Team Flare’s hideout is said to be the desert
Makes sense. It'd make even more sense if it was at a volcano.
The Pokémon League is the castle near Vaniville Town
So close to home?!
There is an area of Kalos that is not accessible until the post-game
Just like Unova in
Black and White 1.
The Gym Leaders of Kalos are claimed to be: Viola (Bug), Danica (Fairy), Clemont (Electric), Grant (Rock), Jet (Flying), Petunia (Grass), Blaise (Fire) and Lilith (Dark)
Whoa whoa whoa what.
Viola, I know is the first Gym Leader. But Danica, Jet, Petunia, Blaise, Lilith... they're probably fake. (If it isn't, it would be weird. And due to have watched
Supernatural at some point in time ago, I can probably guess why "Lilith" is mentioned... but wouldn't that be idiotic in some way? Who knows...)
Kalos Elite Four is supposedly: Elizabeth (Bug), Charles (Psychic), Louis (Ground) and Isabella (Ice). Each based on royalty
WHAT.
The Champion (Mixed Types) is stated to be Professor Sycamore
WHAT.
If this is true, though... then it'd be awesome.
Fairy is super effective against Dragon, Dark and Fighting. It is weak to Steel, Ice and Poison
I think it would make sense. Why do I think so?
Team Flare are said to want money and are willing to take advantage of Pokémon to gain it. There are multiple sources of energy in Kalos and Team Flare are said to be manipulating them to make more money, a process which involves Pokémon
So Xerneas and Yveltal exist for that?
Fairy Wind has a base power of 60 and has the same effects as Ancient Power, Silver Wind and Ominous Wind
Who can tell.
Utter Darkness is a Dark-type version of Earthquake
... Will it cause the BLINDNESS status effect?
There will be an ability which negates the effects of Spikes and Stealth Rock
Some people will like that.
I'm now 1000% certain that these rumors are fake, to an extent. I mean, Viola being the first Gym Leader is true, Fairy being super effective against Dragon is true, Mewtwo having two new forms (I remember saying it *SOMEWHERE*, but I can't remember where) is (hopefully, if I wasn't in a parallel universe) true...
Urgh... my head hurts from trying to remember where it was officially stated that Mewtwo got two new forms...
