Dodos are extinct flightless birds in real life, correct?
However, in this RPG, they're giant birds with wings, with 15 HP instead of 230. (A video game I've played before had enemies like that, with 230 HP.)

Either way, that place is full of 'em. And they respawn on subsequent returns; it's possible to return there 50 times after killing 5000 dodos and still encounter them.
