We could have a link to it (like IRC or so), since Wayne is highly against putting a shout box/ chat box in the forum. So, why don't we have a link to it instead?

Believe me, I've checked (I could go to those "upgrade options" despite not being an admin).

The chatroom system is an one-time fee, we'd just need $30.
It's the same with the custom smileys, just $20 instead of $30.
