It was 3 March 2011, and it was the first term. I remember that I had a lot of work to catch up on, because I missed the first two school days - school had started on a Monday, but I had thought it would be on a Wednesday. -_-"
I don't know what exactly happened earlier that day, but I remember the last few minutes of the final class of that Thursday.

It was EBW ("Ekonomiese Bestuurswetenskappe", in English that would be "Economic Management Sciences").
The teacher that usually gives EMS was away, I don't remember why.
The teacher that stood in didn't give us any work to do, so we were free to keep ourselves busy with homework from other classes.

It's possible that the above could be somewhat incorrect, as I don't really remember much from that day. What I do remember is this:

A handful of students chose to cause chaos. The teacher then gave the entire class a detention.
When I told my mother, she was very angry. Only the following day did I find out that I wasn't going to school anymore.
IIRC, my father was away for work.
