http://criticalpressmedia.com/opend6/D6%20System%20Core%20Book.pdf (http://criticalpressmedia.com/opend6/D6%20System%20Core%20Book.pdf)
A free, high quality rules for RPG's.
In case you're wondering when you're downloading it, the book was originally commercial before the current right owners for this RPG decided to release it open sourced.
That's why it looks like it's been scanned and then put into a PDF.
If you were to look at the end of the file, you can see its license.
Anyway, I'm thinking of starting an RPG where PK gathers heroes from various worlds (not necessarily from the same universe) and then gives then quests in various worlds, the first one, which is to test them, is to kill the Enderdragon from Minecraft in person (and not via a video game).
Its equivalent to the Tomes is PK's encyclopaedia, a book which is a physical representation of PK's consciousness (ie, the same book that Eric Karjam had on his first adventure in The Battle Forum's Alternate Battle).

"Its equivalent to the Tones [...]"
You mean Tomes, right? :P
-
Thanks!
-
Whomever voted "no" please speak up.
-
Um.
I am innocent!
I didn't vote--
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
* blown away *
(I voted for Maybe.)
-
I voted for "No".
-
May I ask, why did you do so?
I just want your opinion.
-
I just don't think it is a good idea. But do what you want.
-
Why don't you think it's a good idea?
If you don't want to tell me, then that's fine.
I just want constructive criticism towards this idea.
-
Yes. Do it. I want to play some games.
-
Why don't you think it's a good idea?
I can't give you constructive criticism until I see the project, but well, I'll say what I want to say.
1. The Enderdragon. No.
Just don't kill the Enderdragon. You must not EVER TOUCH THE ENDERDRAGON!
Ahem.
2. Quests on various worlds would be nice, but do you really need various worlds? I think one bigger would be better.
3. Meh I'm just in bad mood
-
1. Killing the Enderdragon's possible in Vanilla Minecraft, you know. :P
2. Have you heard of improv?
Anyway, I'm thinking of starting in a Minecraft village, where you either can go exploring, hunting for Enderman, mining Obsidian to build a portal to the Nether so that you can get a crucial ingredient to make Eyes Of Ender, which is required to open a portal to The End, or you can go buy stuff from the villagers using the local Minecraft currency of Emeralds (Although the starting money would be in Karjamian Dollars, the Karjamians have exchanges for a vast variety of currencies like the Emeralds. How they'd get hold of other currencies in order to do exchanges depends on the currency (in this case, they're actually mining them in Minecraft worlds) ).
I'm also thinking of having a race of beings encounter able called "Minecraft Players", which are beings in the shape of "Steve?", the protagonist and player character of Minecraft.
Said beings encounterable include "Sky The Kid" and his friends "Deadlox" "Husky Mudkipper", "Jerome", "Ant Venom", "Gold Solace", "Bajan Canadian" and "Ultimate Minecraft Universe" as well as beings like "Bodil40", etc.
Others may be included as well, and in fact, I might allow Minecraft Players to be a starting race.
-
Would a robotic version of Enderdragon be better, Wayne? Or perhaps an illusory one?
Or would you prefer it if Richard "KarjamP" de Goede made an original enemy for this?
KARJAMP!! HOW DARE YOU NINJA ME? >:(

:D

So..... Are there gonna be like skinned characters we can play as that have their own goods and bads?
Cause if yes, then maybe you can add my character. Good building + crafting + mob hunting skills, bad PVP + Nether + Hunger skills.
Just a suggesty.
-
It won't take in the Minecraft world all the time, just the main quest and if we need to visit it again.
But if you want to play as an Minecraft Player, then nothing's stopping you from stating your character has a skin.
And I don't want to make the game too detailed (ie, only add hunger if it would apply to the plot).
Minecraft players have a native ability to punch anything without hurting their hands as well as being proficient in cooking, crafting and weaponry.
However, they'd get an penalty for using non-Minecraft-like tools, punching non-Minecraft terrain, crafting non-Minecraft objects, crafting using non-Minecraft materials and cooking using non-Minecraft tools unless they've gotten used to the differences.
Kush, I AM thinking of having "Fifth Elementalists" as a playable race, along with "Karjamians", "Inhumans", "Humans" and the other races usually found in a Draconian universe, and others can request me to allow you to be any other races as well (like the "Equestrian Earth Pony" {as PK calls them} ).
-
Oooh, Inhumans! :D
Will there be Unknowns too? (Lexus from The Battle is one.)
And Frost Elves (like in the Endanian one) and Desert Elves?
-
If you were to describe them to me so that I can get an idea on how to implement them into terms compatible with gameplay mechanics, then I'll consider it.
Note that I won't allow you to start off with a body similar to PK's, nor his powers (sorry, Nicole Neumann, you can't be a player character at the start of the game).
-
Eh, you can use Nicole as an NPC instead.
And also her sisters. And their Nobodies and Unknowns. :P
I'll just be a normal, calm and cursed-with-random human. :)
-
There's no distinction between inhumans in terms of mechanics.
Each inhuman can choose one Dariian elemental affinity based upon the elements you've defined for your RPG.
Mechanics wise, there's no elements in the game (only resistances, weaknesses and abilities). the elemental affinity just defines what natural abilities/spells you can learn, and your respective weaknesses and resistances.
-
* Dariian, not Daraaian :P
-
Thanks.
-
Uh, I ah, voted yes.
-
Thanks.
Still in its planning stages.
Figured out the basic plot (all I'm going to say, is that the fourth main quest, to get to The End, involves SkyDoeMinecraft, his group and squids. :P).
Still need to flesh them out (like creating some NPC character sheets, for example).
